Chalon-sur-Saône
The interesting part of this big city is the old town centre. You will find a beautiful cathedral. Don't forget to take a cruise on the river Saône.
Le Creusot
Le Creusot is an amalgamation of various mining villages and therefore has no old core, but several. There are a number of fun attractions.
Autun
Autun is an old Roman fortified town where today part of the imposing city walls can still be seen. The grand cathedral has recently been restored.
